DAY 01 Arrival in Cochin; Drive to Munnar

Arrival in Cochin; Drive to Munnar

Get set for unlimited fun and excitement in God’s Own Country with your family members as you arrive in Cochin. Our friendly tour guides will receive you at the airport and drive you to Munnar with on-the-way sightseeing.

A picturesque hill station in Kerala, your arrival in Munnar will be greeted with your check-in into a hotel or a resort.

Spend the day at leisure following your Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 02 Munnar Sightseeing

Munnar Sightseeing

Your family’s first morning in Kerala will get adorned with the enchanting beauty of Munnar’s magnificent hills and mountains. Completing breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour.

First Half: Visit spots like Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Photo Point, Elephant Arrival Spot, Cinema Shooting Point, Mattupetty Dam, and Jungle Honey Bee Nest.

Second Half: Visit Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi Peak, Tata Tea Museum, Blossom Hydel Park, Headworks Dam, Spice Plantation, and Pothamedu Viewpoint.

Come evening, you will be dropped at your hotel/resort for your overnight stay.
DAY 03 Thekkady Sightseeing

Thekkady Exploration

Sightseeing destinations in Thekkady include the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can see wild elephants, boars, deer, the great Indian tiger, and more. Visit Mullaperiyar Dam and enjoy a Spice Plantation tour where you can shop for exotic spices.

In the evening, go for a boat cruise in the lake to experience the wilderness. Optional activities include watching Kathakali, martial arts (Kalaripayattu), elephant rides, bamboo rafting, jeep safaris, nature walks, jungle patrols, trekking, or relaxing with Ayurvedic massages.

Overnight stay at Thekkady.
DAY 04 Alleppey Houseboat

Alleppey Backwaters

This morning, after breakfast, visit Alleppey, the ‘Backwater Capital’ of Kerala. Completing the short drive, check in to an exotic traditional houseboat.

Settle down, relax, and embrace the charm of the day with a backwater cruise. Cruise through narrow canals, enjoy the opulent beauty of coconut lagoons, and visit coir villages in Alleppey.

By evening, as the houseboat anchors, feast on the tranquility of the evening and spend the night in the houseboat.
DAY 05 Drive from Alleppey to Kovalam

Drive from Alleppey to Kovalam

After a good night’s rest at the houseboat, get ready for a new day with a lovely breakfast! Once you reach your hotel in Kovalam, check in and freshen up.

Use the afternoon and evening to visit beach destinations. Start by visiting Vellayani Lake (just 7 km from the city) for serene views. Next, head to Hawa Beach to watch a stunning sunset featuring the imposing Kovalam lighthouse.

Head back to the hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.
DAY 06 Kovalam to Varkala

Kovalam to Varkala

Start your day with a light breakfast and head to Ponnumthuruthu Island (Golden Island) via a scenic boat ferry. Next, visit Kappil Lake for calm scenery or boating, followed by Kappil Beach, where the backwater uniquely meets the ocean.

Lastly, visit Papanasam Beach in Varkala, famous for its cliff backdrop, rocky shores, and spiritual significance for Hindu devotees.

Head back to the hotel for a hot meal and well-deserved rest.
DAY 07 Departure from Varkala to Trivandrum

Departure from Varkala to Trivandrum

As all lovely vacations come to an end, pack up and depart from Varkala to Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station with a heart full of happy memories from your beach and backwater getaway.
